I wanted to share a few things that have helped me. Always be sure to talk with your doctor (assuming you have one) before trying anything new/different. I am not a doctor or a medical professional.
First up is maca root. I can tell you this has helped me with many different things. Balancing hormones, stopping panic attacks, and slowing/easing anxiety. I take it in pill form when I need it and it really does make me feel calmer, happier, and more energetic.
Second to that is lavender oil. Anytime I feel nervous or scared, I will sniff lavender essential oil and within a few minutes, I can feel my mind and body calming down.
The third is ice. If you are like me and tense up when having anxiety (or panic attacks) it helps to keep ice on your lower back or your neck. It will prevent you from straining yourself or causing more symptoms of/from anxiety.
Forth is cutting out the caffeine. You can have it now and then but DO NOT DRINK IT DAILY! If you have anxiety and especially if you have panic attacks, caffeine can stimulate the body and make them much worse. I only have coffee once or twice a week now.
Fifth is getting enough sunshine. D3 plays an important role in the way we handle stress. It is not a vitamin but rather a hormone.
Finally, SLEEP. Make sure you get enough sleep. Anytime my anxiety is worse, it is when I am not getting enough sleep.
