Mental Illness Worthlessness?

An extremely interesting thought, and likely with a lot of truth behind it. Also a good deal to think about for those of us with self worth issues. I can't stand myself, so it's easy to understand my own feelings of worthlessness, but when overcoming those feelings is about more than just saying "you need to learn to love yourself more," it's even more difficult to know how to ever find that self-acceptance. Years of self-loathing induced by a hatred brought from internal and external sources, it's hard to find a way past that to find self-worth and overcome feelings of worthlessness. Interesting paradox.

But yeah, for others, a really good point. Find the good in yourself to find your own sense of worth, don't rely on others to make you feel good.
